International Voices Choir
an English-speaking community choir based in Bonn, Germany.
International Voices Choir is an amateur, adult choir closely associated with and supported by Bonn International School. We love to celebrate our multicultural community and currently represent more than 20 countries.
Since May 2022 we rehearse and perform under the leadership of Hannes Kindhäuser. Our repertoire ranges from fun, easy-to-learn pieces to traditional Christmas carols as well as contemporary pop songs from well-known musicals and films.
Many members do not read music or have any previous choral experience. The emphasis is on enjoyment and community spirit. We always aim to provide our audience with a memorable and enjoyable performance!
The choir was formed in 2010 by Tanya Talbot, whose lifelong passion was to bring people together through music and singing. Over the years, International Voices Choir has performed at a variety of venues, ranging from Cologne Cathedral and Bonn Münster to the Petersberg Hotel and La Redoute as well as at local Christmas markets. We also regularly perform at Bonn International School events.
We rehearse on Monday evenings during semester time at Bonn International School.
